Nov 7, 2025 · Francestown Elementary SchoolEnough Stuff(ie)?In our Grade K-1 Class with Ms. Flanagan, it was bring your stuffie to school day! This event was to honor meeting the goal of exhibiting excellent behavior in class and throughout the school. On Stuffie Day, students were able to bring their favorite stuffed animal (or toy) to school and practice skills with them. One activity was to use their math skills to determine if they had enough cups and plates for their stuffie guests!

Nov 7, 2025 · Francestown Elementary SchoolPumpkin Carving for Halloween!Our FES PTO was so generous to donate a pumpkin for each student to carve for the Halloween celebration in downtown Francestown! Students in Grades K-4 enjoyed a day of pumpkin carving, parades and a Halloween activity. What fun and excitement!

Oct 24, 2025 · Francestown Elementary SchoolArtistic Talents Shine at FES!In art this week with Mr. Melle, our students continue to expand their creative practice as they imagine, plan, create, reflect, and share. This week they looked at works by Piet Mondrian for inspiration for independent projects. We also enjoyed building lanterns with Children and the Arts. Come see them shine!

Oct 17, 2025 · Francestown Elementary SchoolInteresting Surveys in Grade K-1First Graders in both classrooms worked in pairs to create partner animal surveys! Their job was to choose three animals and then asked a question of their partner, then peers, such as “Which animal would you go on vacation with and why?” The answers were interesting and we found some popular animals such as bobcats, gorillas and even hyenas!
